---------------------------------------------------------

Name: Dennis Colt
Age: 19
Rank: F
Team: Ace Deuce (Leader)
Tuner: None
Height: 5’10
Weight: 154 Ib
Ethnicity: Malasyian-Hispanic

Road: N/A

Riding Style:

As he is a newbie above newbie’s he’s only recently learnt the basics of using AT through hard work, he still has problems with acceleration, elevation and tricking successfully while in mid-air. It doesn’t help that he tends to panic. Despite this his body is very athletic and lean allowing him to mostly take the damage for his mistakes and he has well toned, calf and hamstrings producing the power needed to accelerate AT quickly however his lack of comfort with AT and all around inexperience makes him clumsy and sloppy when riding causing it to be nearly impossible for him to trick without accidentally activating his AT and causing him to feel off balanced —tensing up and inevitably failing. Hard.

AT:

A store bought pair of AT that were given to him by Midori—he’s been using them quite a lot recently so they have a bit of wear and tear on them—they’re a brand that were advertised as possessing “NICE SPEED” and “HARD TOUGHNESS” however they’re rather regular in both design and function.

Personality:

A rather---awkward person Dennis tends to be slightly soft-spoken and easygoing in his demeanor to the point of submissiveness sometimes. He tends to dislike arguing outright preferring to avoid or settle outright conflicts which makes him seem rather dull and boring, being slightly shy. However along with this come’s a delightfully cheerful optimism and friendliness as he always tries to see the silver lining to things and attempts to look “Responsible” even if he knows he really isn’t. His social skills aren’t the best especially when dealing with energetic people.

This being said he does have some form of a backbone that namely being AT he tends to become far more assertive and reckless when it’s called upon and has an almost one minded determination when he begins training even if he ends up failing a lot, this tends to however translate to being too focused on what he’s doing wrong instead of what he’s doing right causing him to cramp up thoroughly. This coupled with his constant mental wall tends to dull his already limited abilities.

Despite this he wouldn’t say he lacks confidence, but that he has a deep understanding of his own limitations, or at least he thinks he does, often placing the skill of others far above his own seeing their limitless potential but not his own. Even with this complex he still continues to at least give his one hundred percent with an almost innocent vigor, getting incredibly happy or excited when he makes even the slightest of goals in something—often seeming incredibly childish.

History:

Dennis spent the beginning years of his life in An Arbor, his mother was a professor at the University of Michigan while his father was a well off construction worker who would often take Dennis out to work on school days off and run him through the rings. His father hosting his own failed dream of being a football star into Dennis secretly wanting to make sure he was in tiptop shape. This continued well into his teens although things were tough and he barely had any friends—he was very content with this-- until a certain incident. His mother had been accused of having a fairly intimate relationship with a male student from the school. Needless to say, she was fired and disgraced.

This eventually led to them moving overseas at the advice of an old friend of hers who taught in japan. Dennis eventually applied for a rather mundane college and got accepted in moving out soon after. Things seemed at their lowest for him until—one night on his way from school he ended up meeting a young girl named Midori who, placed herself in a box that said “take me home”. Dennis being not the sharpest pencil in the box approached her both curious and concerned. They ended up striking up a conversation and formed a very feint but visible bond, and for once he felt like there was someone who well, enjoyed his company. However his grades slowly began to slip bit by bit for unknown reasons and after being pressured by his parents. Dropped out in order to save money and time.

He had however. Become content with this. He worked at a store clerk that paid just enough for him to live off of with good saving and spending. He became fine with the mundane this was how he would live the rest of his life, never advancing or going back and he was fine with that. He had finally got it back. He was content again like before. Was this okay? Was it right to feel like this? This questions piled up as something stirred inside him—more so as Midori bought him a pair of AT’s so they could play together. Then everything simply culminated on a night while he was on his way home from work.

He saw it for the first time. A storm rider, he was completely enthralled he had always seen them on TV. It was no big deal to him. Like any other sport, but up close and in person? He could feel it, the pressure of the rider the focus they had when they performed tricks, honed and perfected movements that didn’t waste even a twitch. It was breath taking to him and the stirring finally couldn’t be held anymore.

“Amazing”

With that it was over this was something he had to do—wanted to do—needed to do those people who weren’t afraid to fall who flew high and proud even if he couldn’t reach there he had to try something in him commanded him to. Weather he reached the summit or crashed down—completely up to fate to him,, and he was fine with that.

So he shockingly ended up as joining a team, upon realizing how god damn expensive AT parts are, with Midori whom to his surprise was a storm rider as well but not just her—several others who—would come to form Ace Deuce.

Which—he was apparently the leader of.

“NOT AMAZING”

And so the balding from stress begins!

Relationship:

Midori - Teammate and close friend the first person he ever considers a friend since coming to japan. Treats her somewhat like a little sister.

Hoshi - Her cheery and bubbly attitude always seems to calm him down however her play crying is very convincing leading him to get trolled a lot. Teammate

Kotomi - An experienced rider he both admires slightly and is intimidated by feels guilty that he isn't skilled enough compared to her. Teammate

Dante (a.k.a Dandy) - Another experienced rider that he looks up to helped him get the hang of jumping, prefers calling him dandy and sometimes mimics his word play. Teammate

Patrisha - Tends to shy away from her due in part to her personality which leads to humorous circumstances however trusts her. Teammate.

Kou - Feels he's sort of similar to him what with them both being 19 and living alone but always seems to end up the butt of his jokes takes it in strides and weeps internally.

Kaede - A young storm rider like him who seems to have as much trouble as he does--feels her pain.
